FOOD IS ONE OF THE MAIN THINGS WE LIKE TO TRY, WHEN WE VISIT DIFFERENT COUNTRIES AROUND THE WORLD.
THAT BEAUTIFUL EXOTIC TASTE, WE HAVE NEVER TASTED BEFORE…YUM, YUM.. WHILE WE WERE IN TEXAS IN THE USA, WE VISITED THE STEAK HOUSE, WE ORDERED BABY BACK RIBS, THEY TASTED OUT OF THIS WORLD, I HAVE HAD RIBS BEFORE, BUT NOT COOKED THAT WAY, THE FLAVOUR WAS AWESOME. FOR DESSERT WE TRIED THE CHOCOLATE STAMPEDE, WE JUST COULD’NT BELIEVE THE SIZE OF IT, IT ALMOST COVERED A LARGE PLATE WITH ICE-CREAM…SO DELICIOUS AND FANTASTIC VALUE…BUT I KNOW THE US IS WELL KNOWN FOR ITS LARGE SIZE MEALS.. WHILE VISITING THE NETHERLANDS , I WAS GREATLY IMPRESSED WITH THEIR SATAY MEATBALLS, ( I KNOW YOUR PROBABLY SAY “MEATBALLS”) BUT THE THEIR SATAY MADE THEM TASTE SO DELICIOUS SO YUMMY ALSO THEIR MAYO ON FRITS/CHIPS WAS TOTALLY AMAZING…BEAUTIFUL SWEET TASTE……..
RESEARCH SHOWS THAT:-New York’s diverse heritage makes it a food mecca, with successive waves of immigrants contributing their cuisine to the mix, from foot-high pastrami sandwiches to lox and bagels (although Montreal gives it a run for its money on smoked meat and bagels!) New York has wonderful, healthy and varied foods ― but once in a while, when I need comfort food, this is what I would eat.
An international YouGov study of more than 25,000 people in 24 markets finds that American food ranks 7th out of the 34 cuisines. YouGov asked people which of 34 national cuisines they had tried and whether they liked or disliked them. Italian cuisine beat all other fares, with pizza and pasta standing among the most popular foods in the world. The cuisine received an average popularity score of 84% across the 24 nations we studied.
Middle Eastern food is hugely popular, whether from Lebanon, Egypt or Turkey. Greece isn’t far from that neighborhood either ― from mezze, those bite-sized starters, to the grills and fresh vegetables and cumin-flavored delights of any good table, all rounded off with baklava or similarly addictive pastries.
