It’s not only the adults who subscribe to magazines now….They seem to be popular with even the very young ones and they can be your captive market….Teens seem to go crazy over celebrities…..so anything about their well-loved celebrities always sell magazines like hotcakes and it appears that a good number of teen boys love to be among the crowd, so they keep current with the latest styles .
Some Teen magazine’s advertise a variety of useful makeover feature’s, on simple tips/tricks on how to look glam in 5 minutes or how to get dressed in less than 30 minutes…… How to apply makeup properly ? How to buy the best cosmetics, and DIY beauty tips. All in all it appears females are usually the preferred market of teen magazines.
If Teen’s have a passion for fashion, they will sometimes check out a fashion magazine, which will generally feature the hottest celebs wearing the latest trends… But can they afford what’s advertised ?
Hair and Beauty magazines will feature the latest hairstyles and beauty tips on what the latest trends are around the world, which is great and can be useful if unsure what hairstyle to choose…. sometimes its good to get some advice on what hairstyle is trending.
The only drawback with some of the media advertising, comes back to body image.. which has always been a cause for concern.
